Congratulations to Edmond Memorial High School Senior Avery Barlow for earning a coveted spot on the Oklahoma Cheer Coaches Association (OCCA) All-State Cheerleading squad! Avery was one of just 16 athletes chosen from the West Division, an impressive achievement that reflects her dedication, skill, and passion for cheer.
The OCCA All-State team is composed of standout senior cheerleaders from across Oklahoma who have showcased exceptional talent and commitment to their sport. Selection for the team is competitive, with each athlete required to perform a series of rigorous tryouts, including a cheer, jumps, and tumbling.
"I just feel so blessed to get to have an opportunity like this," said Barlow. "I'm so happy I got to try out alongside my friends and against the best in my state."
