Edmond Memorial Cheer Heads to State
The Edmond Memorial Competitive Cheer team is headed to the OSSAA State Cheerleading Championship!
After earning 6A Regional Runner-Up and securing a spot at State, the Bulldogs are ready for one more opportunity to take the mat and represent Edmond Memorial.
The 6A competition will be held Saturday, September 26, at the Sawyer Center on the campus of Southern Nazarene University. The 6A division begins at 7:00 PM, with Edmond Memorial scheduled to compete at 7:40 PM.
Fans are encouraged to wear pink and come ready to cheer on the Bulldogs as they compete against some of the top teams in Class 6A.
Before heading to SNU, the community is invited to help send off the team at 5:00 PM at the Doghouse. Signs, noisemakers and plenty of Bulldog spirit are encouraged at the send-off. Please note that signs and noisemakers are not permitted inside the Sawyer Center, and the venue has a clear bag policy.
These athletes have put in countless hours of practice, preparation and teamwork to reach this point, and we are incredibly proud of everything they have accomplished this season.
Now there is just one thing left to do.
Go Dogs! Take State!
