COACHES
Meet our coaches!
Varsity & Freshman Coach
Teri Ogle
Teri Ogle is a certified teacher with experience in the Putnam City School District, where she taught second grade, and at Orvis Risner Elementary in Edmond, where she focused on reading. Currently, she is embarking on her 11th year as an adjunct 1/3 teacher at Edmond Memorial High School, where she coaches the pom squad.

Teri is actively involved on campus, working with the freshman squad during 6th hour and the varsity squad during 7th hour. She also supports the teams at games, assemblies, and various events.

Outside of her role at Memorial, Teri enjoys spending time with her family. She and her husband are proud parents of four wonderful children: Chandler, who works in IT at Dell and has two daughters, Millie (7) and Ruby (3); Sayre, a 6th grade English teacher at Cimarron; Merritt, who is married to Taz and is the mother of Scarlett and Eliza; and Avery, who is married to Jimmy, mother to JW, and expecting a baby girl in February.

Over the years, Teri has been a Pom Mom, STUCO Mom, Cheer Mom, and Basketball Mom. However, her favorite role is being "Honey" to her cherished grandchildren.

Johanna Belt
Johanna Belt is a certified teacher, about to begin her 19th year in education. She has taught in both Texas and Oklahoma, covering grades 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 5th, and 6th. She also holds a Master's Degree in Educational Leadership and served as a middle school assistant principal for two years. However, her true passion lies in the classroom. She is thrilled to be at EMHS, teaching Geometry and serving as the Assistant Pom Coach.

Johanna is the proud mother of five amazing children. Coit and Garrett, both 23, are EMHS alumni and graduates of Oklahoma State University. Ashton, 21, another EMHS alum, will be a junior at OSU. Makenna, who is soon to be 18, is a senior at EMHS and participates in Varsity Pom and Pom State squads. Her youngest, Cait, is 12 years old, in 7th grade at Cimarron Middle School, and is about to start rowing with OKC Riversport's middle school competition team.
Over the years, Johanna has worn many hats, including being a baseball mom, basketball mom, dance mom, gymnastics mom, rower’s mom, softball coach, and track coach, and she loves being part of the EMHS pom family.
