Pom & Cheer Tryout Information Meeting – 2026–2027

Edmond Memorial High School is excited to begin preparations for Pom and Cheer tryouts for the 2026–2027 school year! Any current 8th–11th grade students who are interested in trying out for EMHS Pom or Cheer must attend a required informational meeting in order to be eligible for tryouts.

Families may choose one of the following meeting dates:

Thursday, February 5 at 7:00 PM
Monday, February 9 at 7:00 PM

Both meetings will be held in the EMHS Auditorium. Doors will open at 6:30 PM. Please enter from Scott Street and park in the Freshman Academy lot.

Attendance is mandatory for both the student and at least one parent at one of the meetings. During the meeting, coaches will review all Pom and Cheer tryout requirements, expectations, and important dates, and will answer questions to help families prepare for the tryout process.
