This Saturday, September 21, the Edmond Memorial Bulldog State Competitive Cheer team will take the stage at the OSSAA High School Competitive Cheer Regionals. Competing in the 6A Regional II division, the Bulldogs are set to perform at 3:45 p.m. in Stroud’s Route 66 Coliseum.
Facing off against Union, Westmoore, Southmoore, Edmond North, and Owasso—Edmond Memorial will showcase their routine filled with top-level tumbling, stunts, jumps, and chants. The team, composed of athletes selected from both varsity and freshman squads through a rigorous tryout process, has been hard at work all summer to perfect their performance.
A key component of the competition score is crowd participation, and the Bulldogs are counting on the support of their school and community. Come out and cheer on the team as they strive for victory and a spot at the state finals!
